Wales as a nation is world famous for its medieval castles and what better way of discovering two fascinating but very different castles than a guided tour in the beautiful setting of wild Eryri (Snowdonia). I will take you on a tour around Caernarfon medieval walled town, with a visit to the majestic castle grounds built by King Edward I.
On the way, you will have time to enjoy the bustling market town of Caernarfon, with its wide range of shops and eateries, and then journey by taxi to the village of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), which is the highest mountain in Wales. 
Our destination will be the wild and beautiful Dolbadarn Castle, built by the native Prince of Wales, Llywelyn the Great or Llywelyn ap Iorwerth, to secure the mountain passage of Bwlch Llanberis and as part of his defences against invading Anglo-norman kings. Enjoy the romantic setting of Dolbadarn overlooking the beautiful Llyn Padarn.
